– Yes, that’s right, but there are also living ones, those who are doing it right now, working day and night for Victory. And these are not only our warriors, courageous men with weapons in their hands, these are also our beauties – women who embarked on the path of struggle, putting off their own affairs until after the Victory.

Today we speak and remember the Hero of Ukraine Serhiy Konoval.

During the war, Serhiy found his love – Olya. Sensitive, serious, brave and strong. The girl helped Serhiy’s company, they often corresponded, but they first met in Barvinkovo ​​in the Kharkiv region. When the full-scale Nord and his brothers began to defend Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Kyiv. Serhiy Konoval went to war in 2014, as a dental student. In the east, he was a paramedic of the “Hospitaliers”, provided first aid to the fighters. In 2014-2015, he was in Stanytsia Luhanska, Shchasta, Pisky, and also near the Donetsk airport. Serhiy Konoval’s life was cut short near the city of Chasiv Yar, Nord died on the spot along with his friend “Chimera”.

On August 23, 2024, by decree of the President of Ukraine V. Zelensky, the title of “Hero of Ukraine” with the award of the “Gold Star” was awarded to Serhiy Serhiyovich Konoval – lieutenant (posthumously).
